Payment

Payment is accepted via PayPal, Venmo, or approved invoicing methods (for larger projects).
Full payment is due within 10 days of confirmation, unless a different timeline is agreed upon in writing.
For commissions, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before production begins. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to delivery or shipping.

Commission Policy

All commissions are custom-built and made to order by Black Cat Prismatics.
Once a quote is accepted, we will request your references, technical needs (e.g., sizing), and preferred finishes. A timeline will be provided based on the project scope.
Minor adjustments (e.g., fit, detailing, finish) must be requested before final assembly and painting begins.
Significant changes requested after production starts may result in additional charges or a revised timeline.
Commissioned work is for personal use only. Commercial use (e.g., resale, paid stage use, advertising) requires a separate agreement and licensing terms.

Materials & Use

All pieces are designed and printed in-house using materials such as PETG, PLA, or Polycarbonate, chosen based on project needs.
Items are often reinforced with steel rods, epoxy welds, or other support structures. These reinforcements increase durability but do not make the item combat-safe or sparring-approved.
Props may be suitable for light cosplay or display use, but are not certified for theater, choreography, or physical impact unless otherwise stated.

Updates & Communication

You are welcome to request an update at any time during your commission. Please allow 24–48 hours for a response.
Photos or progress shots may be shared upon request or at major milestones (e.g., post-print, post-assembly, pre-paint).
Once a project is finished, you will receive final photos and tracking information if shipping is required.

Refunds, Corrections & Cancellations

Full refunds are available until printing begins.
If the commission is canceled after printing but before painting, a partial refund may be issued depending on material usage and time invested. The unfinished project may be delivered as-is if requested.
Refunds are not available once final painting and finishing are complete, unless there is a clear error in craftsmanship or fulfillment (e.g., incorrect item sent).
If a finished item is damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately. We will assist with claims and repairs where possible.
In the rare case that we must cancel a commission for reasons outside your control, a full refund will be issued. In cases involving client harassment or inappropriate conduct, only a partial refund may be granted at our discretion.

Usage & Credit

You may share photos of your commissioned work on social media and are encouraged to tag @blackcatprismatics.
Please do not remove or obscure our maker’s mark or logo (if applicable).
You may not scan, cast, reverse-engineer, or reproduce our physical products or 3D models without permission.
Absolutely no use of our work or imagery in AI training datasets, machine learning programs, or generative AI tools is permitted under any circumstances.

Shipping

Shipping costs and methods will be discussed at the time of order. Tracking is provided for all shipped items.
Black Cat Prismatics is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once the item leaves our possession, but we will assist with filing claims and provide repair support if possible.

Final Notes
